Knowledge Centre
Important Information for Dog Owners
At Dogs Country Club, our love for dogs drives us to provide not only exceptional boarding services but also valuable information to help you be the best pet parent possible. Our Knowledge Centre offers insights into your dog’s stay with us, our resort operations, and general health issues your dog may encounter throughout their life.
We encourage you to download, share, or collect these documents from our reception team during your next visit. Feel free to share this Knowledge Centre with fellow pet parents.
Caring for Your Dog
Canine Cough
Canine Cough (previously known as Kennel Cough) is the most misunderstood issue in dog health. Even if your dog is vaccinated they can still contract Canine Cough anywhere there is another dog. But don’t be concerned. Read our brochure on what it is, how it moves through your dog’s system and how to support your dog through it. This is a must read for ALL dog owners.
Hot Spots
Nasty and annoying, hot spots can pop up without any warning and can develop very quickly into a painful skin condition for your dog. Our flier helps you to understand what they are, how they come to be, the most likely places they will occur and what to do if you ever find your dog has a hot spot – small or large. This is a must read for anyone whose dog loves to play in the water and has hair.

Information About Your Stay
Conditions of Boarding
As a professional pet resort our requirements under the Domestic Animals Act and the Victorian Code of Practice for Boarding are outlined in our Conditions of Boarding. It may feel like you are leaving your first born child with us (for some of you you are) but this is an essential document. Should you have any questions then please ask us, we would be more than happy to discuss it with you.
Calendar
Our current calendar shows clearly our office hours, arrival and departure times, peak and off peak times and also the days our office is closed. If you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to ask.
